Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year
Hello and welcome to Hunt Elementary School!
Hunt is a neighborhood school located near the 210 freeway and Del Rosa. We serve nearly 600 students in grades preschool through 5th.
Parents are always welcomed and encouraged to be involved in their child’s learning process by attending school events, serving on a school committee, and volunteering at the school. The staff welcomes parent assistance in the classroom and with school wide activities. Parent engagement is very important to our site and staff, and we value the impact a parent has on a child’s educational experience. Our site has planned committees that provide opportunities for parents to interact and get involved in their child’s school. The School Site Council and other parent councils enable parents to provide oversight and input on the school budget, activities, and educational programs. We hope that you will take the time to find out how you can get involved; and we look forward to your presence, moving our school forward, and ensuring academic success for all!
In close, I know you will find our school to be one that puts students first. The safety, well-being, and belonging to a family centered community, with a strong academic focus, are always at the forefront of every decision made at our site.
Looking forward to working with you throughout the year.
